Starting in September 2021, CORDI will be collaborating with the Nordic Observatory for Digital Media and Information Disorder (NORDIS), funded by the EU. The launch of NORDIS, with remarks by the Minister of Defense of Finland, Antti Kaikkonen, can be screened here.

CORDI member Minna Horowitz attended the pre-launch Nordic conference by Uppsala University in February, with a presentation on an analytical model to assess the role of PSM in combating disinformation. For the rest of the duration of CORDI, in the context of NORDIS, CORDI members John Grönvall and Horowitz will continue to assess the Nordic policies to guarantee communication rights regarding disinformation, as well as further research the role of PSM as digital information literacy educators in the Nordic welfare states.
